[Guide] Hellstorm Battleground

General Info

Hellstorm is a unique, 120-person PvP battleground available to players level 30+. The entrance opens at 21:30 (Server Time) and remains open until 21:35, a five minute window so players must hurry to speak with the Battlemaster in Starglade to join in. The battleground will end at 21:45.

Players will enter Hellstorm according to their level, one battle for players level 30-80, and one for players level 81-120. Upon entering, each player is given a five minute buff, during this time they may not attack nor be attacked. After this buff wears off, the battleground is a free-for-all death match. Players names will not be visible during this time. In order to win a prize, you must be one of the few remaining characters at the end of the battle. If you are defeated during battle, you will be transported back to Starglade and may not re-enter until next time.

Rewards

If more then 3 characters are still standing, each will be awarded a Participation Pack. A Third Place Pack will be given if only 3 players are left standing, a Second Place Pack for 2 left standing, and a First Place Pack for only 1 left standing. These packs may be claimed by speaking to the Battlemaster in Starglade. However, players must remember not to leave the battleground before the event is over or their rewards will be forfeited.

Survival of the Fittest

Event Time: Daily from 8:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Server: All Servers
Description: The Survival of the Fittest has begun! Your job is very simple: stay alive! Event last for 30 minutes; all rewards must be collected before the event ends.
Prizes:

• First Place: Guru Survival Medal x 1
• Second Place: Master Survival Medal x 1
• Third Place: Elite Survival Medal x 1
• Fourth-Sixth Place: Rookie Survivor Medal x 1

You may only exchange lower level medals for higher level medals.

Event Rules:
1. Must be Level 60 or higher. 
2. Enter the battleground by visiting Darwin in Starglade.
3. Maximum 60 players are allowed in the battleground.

Event Details:
1. Once entering the map, the first 2 minutes are used for learning the rules and preparing.
2. Other than event specific skills and consumables, no other skills, consumables, mounts, etc can be used in the battleground. 
3. Movement speed of all players is adjusted to 150.
4. The object is to be the first to cross the finish line, with the best rewards going to the first player.
5. There are a total of 4 challenges. Each time you complete a challenge, head directly to the NPC teleportation point. If you step on a trap you will be transported back to the previous area.

Strategies:

The map is full of traps, flame walls, fog, and thunder. Timing is the key to success and in some cases, sticking to the walls may help avoid some of the traps. Sitting down right before a trap goes off may also help you survive the trap.

Remember to talk to every NPC point otherwise if you miss 1 you will go back to the last NPC you talked to. You have a 1 in 3 chance of obtaining honor from Lucky Fruit. Some Players would mined them for honors as there are no limit on how much honor you can receive.

[Activities] Tamalan Arena

Opening Time: Daily from 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM (Server Time)

Description:
1. Must be level 30 or higher to enter.
2. A maximum of 20 players are allowed in an arena.
3. There will be THREE instances, each holding a separate arena.
4. Enter the arena by visiting the Battlemaster in Starglade.

Rules & Procedure:
1. All class skills (including normal attacks) will be disabled.
2. Upon entering the arena, you will be provided with 30 Duel Badges. These Duel Badges may be exchanged for various medallions.
3. View the Arena Shop by visiting the NPC, Tamalan Guardian, located in the Tamalan Arena, to exchange for these medallions. Each with a special attack or ability, medallions are the only attacks that can be applied in the Tamalan Arena.
4. Once obtaining your medallions, drag them to your skill bar for easy access.
5. Once you are ready for battle, speak with the Guardian to enter the arena!
6. You will receive 10 Duel Badges and 2 points for each player killed. Only players who obtain 50 or more points will be rewarded. You may check your point total at the Tamalan Guardian.
7. Once the battle is complete, visit the Battlemaster in Starglade to redeem your rewards.
8. Any initial character movement speed boosts are kept while in the arena.
9. Arena skills will reset with the completion of each arena.
10. If you receive an error message upon entering, the arena is full!

How to receive Duel Badges…
• 30 initial Duel Badges will be provided upon entering the arena.
• 10 Duel Badges will be rewarded upon killing an enemy in the arena.
• 2 Duel Badges will be rewarded every 30 seconds when active in the arena.

How to receive points…
• 2 points are rewarded for each player killed.
• 1 point is rewarded every 20 seconds when active in the arena.

Note: If you're looking for the max rewards, you need to bring friends or guild members who are willing to sacrifice for you. Its best to max out on 3 skills, which cost 1g each per max skill. 

Crypt

Event Time: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Server Time)

Description: Enter…if you dare! You can find your way in, but will you ever find your way out again?!?!? The Crypt contains 15 levels, with three NPCs on each level. Speak with one of the three NPCs to teleport to another level, but only one of them will actually do it! Mwahahahahahaha! The other two NPCs will send you back to a previous level. The first three players to reach level 15 will each receive a special prize. Once 30 players reach level 15, a BOSS will spawn! System messages will be sent out once 10, 15 and 25 players have reached level 15 for notification. Players who reach level 15 may either wait for the BOSS to spawn or simply return to Starglade. Visit the Battlemaster in Starglade to enter the Crypt.

Level Requirements: Players must be at least level 45.

Player Capacity: Unlimited

Rewards: Experience for reaching each level. Once players reach level 5, they will earn Bronze Honor Badge x 5. Players who reach level 10 will earn Bronze Honor Badge x 10. Lastly, those who reach level 15 will earn Silver Honor Badge x 1 and Bronze Honor Badge x 15. To redeem their experience and Honor Badge rewards, players must speak with the Crypt Ambassador on each level reached! The first three players to reach level 15 will receive a special prize, listed below:

TIP: This is a memory/speed game. Remember to talk to each reward npc on each level, they give out Experience points too. All in all you get 10-15%(probably less the higher level you are) in experience for about 5-10mins of running around.Remember to talk to each reward npc on each level, they give out experience points too. You can also bypass the NPC rewards to save time as you can re-enter the Crypt again and re-do the floors.

Crypt Boss has been known to drop Soul Shard, Breeding Stone, Purified Crystals. Pixie Upgrade Crystal.

How to Win: 
Take possession of the Dragon Sword located in the middle of the battleground. Hold on to the weapon for 3 minutes without dying.

Dragon Sword stats are completely different for each class. Please note that Dragon Swords may also be obtained from Events, where there are also 3-hour & 6-hour Dragon Sword that can be obtained. Day In Vidalia quests- has a 3-hour Dragon Sword as a Reward
